# system.kanoa.inventory.deleteInventoryTransactionType(inventoryTransactionTypeId, userId)

Deletes the inventory transaction type identified by `inventoryTransactionTypeId`.
This is a lookup/classification record (e.g. Receipt, Issue, Transfer, Adjustment, Cycle Count);
deleting a type that is still referenced by existing inventory transactions may fail or orphan those records depending on database constraints,
so this should generally only be used to remove unused types.

---
