# system.kanoa.inventory.updateCostCenterField(costCenterId, field, value, userId)

Updates a single named column on a cost center record, identified by `costCenterId`, to the given `value`.
This is a lighter-weight alternative to `updateCostCenter` when only one field needs to change. Only `costCenterCode` and `costCenterName` are valid values for `field`.

---

**field** `String`: Valid options are costCenterCode, costCenterName<br />
**value** `String`: Value to update to<br />
**userId** `Integer`:Id of the user executing the function<br />

---
### Returns
**# of records modified** `Integer`<br />
**message** `String` None if success<br />

---
### Example
```python
costCenterId = 14
field = "costCenterName"
value = "Packaging & Fulfillment"
