# system.kanoa.inventory.updateSupplierField(supplierId, field, value, userId)

Updates a single named field on the supplier identified by `supplierId`, setting it to `value`.
This is a lighter-weight alternative to `updateSupplier` when only one column needs to change.
The `userId` is recorded for auditing who performed the update.
