# Connect To ERP

ERP connectivity is a common requirement in MES projects. ERP systems usually manage higher-level business processes: customer demand, manufacturing orders, inventory planning, financial tracking, master data, and planning and scheduling information. Kanoa MES executes and tracks production at the plant level.

In this section you'll build the following bi-directional flow of information between your Gateway and an ERP simulator using web services.
