Inventory Setup

A parts catalog depends on reference data: who makes each part, who supplies it, how it's counted, and which budget pays when it's used. Set that up first, then the parts, then the storeroom and the rules for stocking each part there.

In this section you will:

• Add cost centers, manufacturers, suppliers and units of measure.
• Build a small parts catalog of Machine 1 spares.
• Create the Parts Room storeroom and set a stocking policy for each part.
