Database Requirements

Kanoa MES supports Microsoft SQL Server only.

Supported database engines​

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (15.0) or later

Kanoa MES does not support other database engines such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Kanoa MES works with:

  • SQL Server Express
  • SQL Server Developer Edition

For production deployments, Kanoa generally recommends upgrading to a licensed SQL Server edition appropriate for your workload and organizational standards.

Note: Follow Microsoft’s recommendations for SQL Server CPU provisioning, and keep in mind SQL Server licensing costs may be impacted by CPU configuration.
