What does executeLotOperation create?

A lot operation event and all its input and output lot events, in one call. See Important Lot Functions.

Why does a transfer screen need both getLotActivity and executeLotOperation?

getLotActivity lists the lots and quantities at the source; executeLotOperation records the move as an input at the source and an output at the destination. See Important Lot Functions.

Why give operators custom screens instead of Lot Manager?

Lot Manager offers every operation and field. Focused screens show only what the task needs, which reduces mistakes. See Lot Functions and Screens.

What validation should you add to the example Transfer Lot screen before using it as a model?

A check that the quantity doesn't exceed what's available at the source. It only rejects quantities of zero or less. See Custom Lot Screens.

You select the Storage area in the Lot Quantity Bar Chart and see material from Receiving and Shipping. Why?
