Applying a License

Applying a license allows users to access the full suite of Kanoa's functionality. License keys come in 6 or 8 characters. If given a 8-character license key, an activation token will be required as well.

Step 1 — Navigate to the Licensing Gateway Page

On Ignition 8.1, the Licensing page will be found at Config -> System -> Licensing.

On Ignition 8.3, the Licensing page will be found at Platform -> System -> Licensing.

Step 2 — Enter License Key

On the Licensing page, look for the "Activate new license..." or "Activate a License" button, depending on which version of Ignition you're on.

In the License Key field, enter your 6 or 8 character Kanoa license key. If given a 8 character license, you will also need to have your activation token ready. Fill/paste in the information as prompted.

Step 3 — Confirm Successful License Application

If filled in correctly, the license application should be complete, and Kanoa MES should show as Activated in the modules page. To confirm this, navigate to the Modules page.

On Ignition 8.1, the Modules page will be found at Status -> System -> Modules.

On Ignition 8.3, the Modules page will be found at Platform -> System -> Modules.
