A receipt was entered with the wrong quantity. How do you correct it?

With another transaction, such as an adjustment. Transactions are never edited, so the history explains every change. See Adjust Stock and Find Reorders.

What does issuing a part to a work order give you that an ad hoc issue doesn't?

A link between the stock movement and the maintenance job, so you can see what each repair consumed and what drives a part's usage. See Issue Parts to a Work Order.

Which two assets does an issue to a work order record?

The inventory asset the part came from, such as the Parts Room, and the asset it was used on, such as Machine 1. See Issue Parts to a Work Order.

What's the difference between On Hand and Available?

Available is on hand minus stock reserved for open work orders. See Adjust Stock and Find Reorders.

How do you find every part that needs reordering in a storeroom?
