Receiving Inspection
Use these questions to prepare for the Kanoa Quality certification exam.
Why require an item from the CoreForge\RM class on the Receiving Inspection?
It ties each inspection to the material received, and limits the choice to raw materials from the existing item master. See Folders and Item Context.
What's the difference between Enabled and Required on a check item?
Enabled decides whether the item appears. Required decides whether the check can be submitted with it blank. See Typed and Validated Check Items.
Why is ab123 rejected by the Lot Number regex?
It's only five characters and contains lowercase letters. The regex needs 6 to 20 uppercase letters or digits. See Typed and Validated Check Items.
What do Neutral responses in a Text pick list do?
They record information, such as a supplier name, without passing or failing the check. See Typed and Validated Check Items.
With Manual trigger timers of Delay 0, Coming Due 0, Over Due 30 and Grace 30, when does an untouched check become Missed?
60 minutes after it's added: due immediately, Over Due at 30 minutes, Missed 30 minutes later. See Revise and Correct.
Why must an approved check be rejected before it can be corrected?
So changing approved quality data is a deliberate step that takes the check out of Approved first. Rejecting needs the Approve Checks function. See Revise and Correct.
